Flava Tea Dance Returns

Sunday 30 January

The Sunday FLAVA our afternoon (tea dance) freestyle where you can dance and chill out to funked up, moody blues, funky blues, R&B, soul, modern tango and smooth latin tunes, provided by our new resident superstar DJ' Jordan Fellows

 

The Lysaght Institute Orb Drive, Newport  NP19 0RA. The venue has a large smooth sprung dance floor to groove into and beautiful decor to chill out in. Not forgetting lots of lovely homemade cakes provided by dancers from Ceroc South Wales (thank you team!) and free tea and coffee to keep you going!

WHAT IS IT - A workshop covering all the beginner's moves, whilst going over lead and follow techniques. Workshop is being taught by CSW teacher Lyndsey Bennett. 
 
DATE/TIME - 11:00am-2:00pm Sunday 6th Febuary 2022
DANCE ABILITY - Brand new to Ceroc. No problem! This workshop is perfect for anyone who hasn't danced before, and also ideal for any beginner level dancers that need a refresher of moves 

  

PRICE - Tickets cost only £10pp. 
 
HOW TO BOOK - You need to pre-book tickets online. This is a gender balance controlled workshop, so make sure you book quickly via our booking system here  
 
COVID PASS - You will need to provide a negative Covid LF test taken no more than 24 hours before the event. Instructions on how to do this can be found here. 
 
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING - Just your Ceroc membership card (unless this is your first time), your Covid LF proof (on phone or on paper) and clothes/shoes that you are comfortable in. You will need to bring your own drink and snacks as the venue has no facilities.
